Sasha Crichton shares her story
THE WILL FOR GOOD
“Since the day I was born, I have been driven towards positive change. And to understand who we are… and why we do what we do.
In part, this is due to having been raised by an Irish mother, who lost both her parents by the age of 17. While raising two daughters on the Central Coast of Australia, my mother trained and worked as a Women’s Health Counsellor. From a young age, I was exposed to a will to do good, psychology and wellbeing.
Mum would share stories about her family, including her grandfather, Lieutenant Councillor Richard O’Carroll, who dedicated himself to supporting children’s rights and the cultural independence of Ireland.
THE IMPACT OF EARLY YEARS
I’ve had many impactful experiences in my younger years, one of the most significant was being born with a hearing impairment at was identified and repaired until the age of four.
By the age of four, while other children share their thoughts and feelings, and tell stories, I was only learning to find my voice.
These early years set the course of my life, prompting a deep curiosity for all things related to communication, personal growth and the creative spirit.
Academic and life learnings
At the age of 21 I reconnected with my Celtic roots living in Ireland, Scotland and England.
Returning to Australia seven years later, I invested over seven years in the academic world—studying psychology, anthropology, marketing, communications and arts at university and college. Yet, it wasn’t until I discovered Life Coaching and Self-Directed Healing that I found the missing piece—the key that profoundly transformed every area of my life.
We all carry a story. Many of us inherit or absorb limitations—biological, social, or cultural—that shape our beliefs and behaviours. These self-imposed layers can mask who we truly are, and hold us back from living with confidence, contentment and authenticity.
The journey forward begins with finding the right kind of support. Today, I’m grateful to offer practical tools, insights, and resources that empower people to step into success in a way that feels true to who they are—on your terms, in your voice.
